Renovation of a municipal facility in Melissa, Texas. Completed plans call for the renovation of a municipal facility.
The City of Melissa will receive bids for the Melissa City Hall Second Floor Office Finish Out project for the City of Melissa, Texas, hereinafter called "City". The Contractor shall identify his bid on the outside of the envelope by writing the name of his company or corporation and the name of the project. Bids shall be accompanied by a cashier's check or certified check upon a national or state bank in an amount not less than five percent (5%) of the total maximum bid price payable without recourse to the City of Sachse, or a bid bond in the same amount from a reliable surety company, as a guarantee that the bidder will enter into a contract and execute Performance Bond within ten (10) days after notice of award of contract to him. The right is reserved by the Mayor and the City Council as the interest of the City may require, to reject any and all bids, and to waive any informality in bids received.
