That Orange County, Florida, henceforth referred to as the County is accepting sealed bids for Corrections Storm water Drainage System Improvements Question Submission Deadline:September 9, 2024, 5:00pm The overall goal for all bids (inclusive of all additive and deductive alternates) is 18% (eighteen percent) participation of the contract value for this contract for M/WBE subcontractors and suppliers. A Certified Check, or a Cashiers Check shall be required to accompany each electronic offer in a stated dollar amount of not less than ten (10%) percent of the sum of the total estimated contract amount for the base period A Bid, Payment and Performance Bond are a requirement when the offer/contract amount exceeds $100,000. SCOPE OF WORK A. Summary Of Work: Drainage Improvements: Project includes retrofits to existing drainage systems to improve stormwater management at the site. This includes adding and/or upgrading drainage infrastructure. Security Improvements: Project includes security improvements throughout the project area to prevent ingress / egress at the secure facility. The Ordinance also addresses minority/women group employment levels setting goals to encourage each Bidder to maintain 18% minority and 6% women employees.
