Site work and paving for a road / highway in Maryland Heights, Missouri. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; and for paving for a road / highway.
The scope of work includes the milling of approximately 370 square yards of pavement and the placement of approximately 230 tons of asphalt. Not less than the prevailing hourly rate of wages shall be paid to all workmen performing under this contract in this area according to the rates determined by the Department of Labor and Industrial Relations of the State of Missouri. Projects valued at $75,000 and under are not subject to this provision. A bid security in the amount of five percent (5%) of the bid amount must accompany each bid in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders. The City of Maryland Heights reserves the right to accept or reject any bid and to waive any irregularities in the best interest of the City. A Bid may not be modified, withdrawn or cancelled by the bidder within sixty (60) days following the time and date designated for the receipt of bids, and each bidder so agrees in submitting his bid.
