Renovation of a residential development in Sparkill, New York. Completed plans call for the renovation of a residential development.

PLEASE TAKE NOTICE, that the Hopson-Swan Estate located in 435 ROUTE 9 W, SPARKILL, NEW YORK 10976 intends to renovate select areas of the existing building and is seeking sealed bids for General Construction. This is a public works project and all coordination of the work will be the responsibility of the General Construction Contractor (G.C.C.) selected for the project. Time is of essence for this project. The Palisades Interstate Park Commission intends to award the project on/or about June 27, 2024 and reserves all rights to award to the lowest qualified bidder. Each sealed enclosure containing a bid is to be endorsed on the outside with the name, address and telephone number of the bidder and is to state that it contains a bid for the referenced project. Bid security in the form of a 5% bid bond issued by an acceptable surety or a bank or certified check payable to the Palisades Interstate Park Commission is required. The bidder shall enter into contract within 1 week after notification of the award of contract and start construction within 2 weeks. The successful bidder will be required to provide both a performance bond and a labor/material payment bond issued by acceptable sureties and to enter into a written contract with the Palisades Interstate Park Commission. The anticipated start date of construction is on/or about July 15, 2024. A copy of the form of contract is included with the bid documents. This is a Public Works project and the successful bidders must pay all employees prevailing wages pursuant to the Labor Law. The Palisades Interstate Park Commission reserves the right to reject any and all bids, re-advertise for new bids, and waive any irregularities in bidding and to accept the bid that is best suited for the Palisades Interstate Park Commission Location: 435 Route 9W, Sparkill, NY 10976
