**As of July 10, 2024, no bids received. No definite date for the rebid.** The following items express the administrative conditions and requirements of this quotation solicitation process, the subsequent Purchase Order and goods and or services delivery. Any proposed
change, modification, or exception to these conditions and requirements may be the basis for the County of Somerset, hereinafter referred to as owners, to determine the quote as non-responsive and
will be a factor in the determination of an award of a Purchase Order. The contents of the quote of the successful Respondent, as accepted by the owner, will become part of any Purchase Order awarded as
a result of this solicitation. Questions by prospective respondents concerning this RFQ may be addressed to Melissa A. Furnish, deliver, and install one (1) Prefabricated Run-in Horse Shed for The Stable at Lord Stirling Park located at 256 South Maple Ave, Basking Ridge, NJ 07920 on Somerset County Park
Commission prepped site. Provide all labor, supervision, supplies, parts, components, materials, tools, vehicles, and equipment necessary to install the new equipment. The bidder shall set in place and make all final
connections of the new equipment. The shed must be delivered no later than October 31, 2024
There is no existing shed that requires removal or disposal. Successful respondent is responsible for the removal of all packaging and debris. Shed must consist of three 12'x12' (inside dimensions) run-in stalls, and an 8' x 12' fully enclosed
tack room.
o The shed frame shall be constructed of oak posts and beams. 2"x4" rafters, 16" on
center.
o Total height of shed 11 ft.
o The exterior walls shall be constructed of wood composite siding.
o The siding color shall be a "Scarlet Red" color or equivalent (pictured in Figure 1)
with white trim.
Run-In Area
o Run-in area shall be open front style with a finished doorway trim and wide corner
braces.
o The run-in area shall have an open floor.
o The interior walls shall be constructed with oak wood.
Additional requirements:
o 18" overhang along the front of the shed.
o Quaker-style roof with 30-year GAF Timberline HDZ, color; Fox Hollow Grey
architectural shingles.
o 6"x6" Bottom sill plates made with pressure-treated wood.
o Steel reinforced corners.
o Built-in tow hooks. The bidder shall coordinate delivery to the facility through Toni Sauer, telephone number 908- 672-1626. The delivery shall be scheduled within the following hours: 7:00am-2:00pm Monday
through Friday. No weekends or holidays.
FOB Destination.
Delivery Location: The Stable at Lord Stirling Park located at 256 South Maple Ave, Basking
Ridge, NJ 07920.
o The Park Commission shall have the site prepped for delivery; delivery must be
coordinated to avoid muddy footing and current construction site.
o Vendor shall provide a Shed Mule to place the shed.
o Vendor shall deliver and place the structure on the prepped site, made of 6" deep,
3/4 " DGA stone pad. Please refer to the Run-In Shed Delivery Route Specifications on
