The Project includes the following Work: Work includes the furnishing of all materials, labor, equipment and all that may be incidental to construction of an expansion to the landfill gas collection and control system at the Rowan County Landfill. This work involves the following: o Surveying and establishing suitable ground controls o Locating and installing 16 vertical gas collection wells o Installing landfill gas collection piping including o 4,260 linear feet of 4" and 6" lateral HDPE pipe o 2,590 linear feet of 10" header HDPE pipe o 2,870 linear feet of air line piping o Associated fittings, valves, access points, and access boxes o Installing two (2) HDPE condensate sumps o Completing all associated miscellaneous site work described in the Plans and Specifications Prospective Bidders may also obtain copies of the Bidding Documents from the Issuing Office as described below. Partial sets of Bidding Documents will not be available from the Issuing Office. Neither Owner nor Engineer will be responsible for full or partial sets of Bidding Documents, including Addenda, if any, obtained from sources other than the Issuing Office. Electronic copies of the Bidding Documents may be obtained from the Issuing Office or from the website listed above. Alternatively contact the Purchasing Department for electronic PDFs of the bid documents free of charge. Paper Bidding Documents or electronic documents on flash drive are available for a fee and will be sent via the prospective Bidder's delivery service. The fee and shipping charge shall be the responsibility of the bidder and the amount will depend on the document type and shipping method chosen. Successful bidder shall comply with the E-VERIFY requirements of Article 2 of Chapter 64 of the NC General Statutes. Further, if vendor provides the services to the County utilizing a subcontractor, subcontractor shall comply with the requirements of Article 2 of Chapter 64 of the NC General Statutes as well. Contractor shall verify, by affidavit, compliance of the terms of this section upon request by Rowan County. The successful bidder, certifies that it is not identified on the Iran Divestment Act Final Divestment List or any other list of prohibited investments created by the NC State Treasurer pursuant to N.C.G.S. 143- 6A-4, that it will not take any action causing it to appear on any such list during the term of this contract, and it will not utilize any subcontractor to provide goods or services hereunder that is identified on any list. Contracts funded with federal grant funds must be procured in a manner that conforms with all applicable Federal laws, policies, and standards. Rowan County encourages minority participation and has a goal of ten percent (10%) participation. Contractor should document their minority business outreach and participation.
