Responsible and qualified MWBE, SDVOB or NYS small business contractors to provide Interior & Exterior Painting of the house and outbuildings service to Sunmount DDSO, 57 Haymeadow Dr SOIRA. Prep and Paint exterior of House and Outbuildings. Prep and paint home interior Facility Address: 57 Haymeadow Drive Tupper Lake, N.Y. 12986 DESCRIPTION: Prepare interior and exterior of house and outbuildings, then paint all surfaces. The vendor shall provide all Materials and labor necessary to complete the work in a professional manner according to scope of work and architectural drawings if supplied. Work is to be completed within 30 days of award, unless modified below. This is a NYS Public Works project and prevailing wages are to be paid. Certified Payrolls must be submitted at time of completion. Refer to attached specification for the following scope of work if supplied. Site must be cleaned, and all materials secured at the end of each workday. Absolutely no materials or equipment, are to be left unsecured. Upon completion of interior/exterior house and outbuilding painting, before removal of equipment, contractor is to schedule a quality control and quality assurance inspection with Plant Superintendent or his/her representative. SCOPE OF WORK includes, but is not necessarily limited to the following: 1. Scrape loose paint from exterior of house and outbuildings. 2. Prepare the exterior of house and outbuildings for painting including repairs. 3. Paint exterior of house and outbuildings 1 st with primer and then 2 coats of exterior paint. Color to be decided by OPWDD staff. 4. Patch and prepare all interior walls, and prime as necessary. 5. Prepare all interior trim and woodwork. 6. Paint interior walls with 2 coats of interior paint. Color to be decided by OPWDD staff. 7. Refinish all interior trim and woodwork to match original finishes. 8. All work is to be performed by OSHA standards. 9. All paint debris must be cleaned up by Contractor. A. Lawn Damage/Property Damage o If the delivery of materials or any other work necessitates the contractor, his suppliers, or sub-contractors to drive on the lawn for ANY reason, the contractor shall be held responsible for the repair of the lawn. o Personal vehicles are not to be parked on the grass. o Any property damage caused by work performed is to be corrected to the condition existing prior to start of the job. B. Continuity of Work/Communication/Scheduling o Once the job has begun, it is to be worked on continuously until completed. o If there are any delays, even if due to inclement weather, a Work Control Representative MUST be contacted. C. Work must be scheduled to start within 30 days of receiving the material. D. General Safety o The contractor must take all reasonable care to safeguard the residents and the staff of the residence. o The contractor shall ensure all tools, materials and other items are picked up, removed or stored and are safely secured at the end of each workday. o Any ladders, scaffolding or lifts used in conjunction with this job are to be stored to the satisfaction of the on-staff supervisor at the end of the day. o The work as indicated above shall be scheduled as not to interfere with other functions of the residence. All work performed as part of this job is to be coordinated with the on-staff supervisor and Plant Superintendent or his/her representative listed above.
