(See the cut off period for question submissions and Site Visit scheduling indicated below) Over view: DOT is seeking repair of guardrail and barrier wall repair in Pottawattamie County at 36.8 MM on Eastbound I-80. DOT Estimated Start Date: June 20th, 2024 DOT Estimated End Date: July 26, 2024 This is project is exempt from state sales tax. Site Visit: Site visits are recommended. Interested bidders can schedule a site visit with the Purchasing Agent listed on the solicitation via email at jean.gustafson@iowadot.us. DOT will coordinate with staff and send you confirmation once the site visit has been scheduled. Contractors will be required to bring their own equipment needed for the site visit. It is the intent of the Iowa DOT to award the contract to the responsible contractor whose submitted quote is the most advantageous to the Iowa DOT, cost and other factors considered. Other factors include, but are not limited to: meeting or exceeding mandatory requirements, proposed staffing, and meeting required time schedule.
