Site work, paving and outdoor lighting for a mixed-use development in Lexington, Kentucky. Completed plans call for site work for a educational facility; and for outdoor lighting for a educational facility.
The project consists of the expansion and resurfacing of the parking lot at the Gluck Equine Center. Demolition consists of the milling and removal of degraded pavement to resurface the existing lot and perimeter curb and trees to expand the lot. Erosion control measures shall be installed and maintained throughout the duration of construction. Concrete curb/gutter will border all sides of the parking lot. The existing asphalt parking lot will be milled and resurfaced at a minimum and significant portions will be sawcut out and replaced. All parking will be paved with asphalt and striped per UK's standards. No new storm sewer improvements are included. All disturbed lawns around the project will be sodded. Lighting improvements will consist of replacement of existing poles/fixtures with new to match the Orange Lot lighting.
