Woodlake Elementary School Fencing Project The successful bidder shall commence work with the issuance of the Notice to Proceed and per the project schedule referenced below. The District has established a liquidated damage rate of $1,000.00 per calendar day for each and every calendar day that the work remains fully uncompleted or unaccepted by the District The Engineers Estimate for this project is $115,000 Questions regarding bid specifications and site work should be directed to the following by: June 04, 2024 at 2:00pm This Project is being let in accordance with the California Uniform Public Construction Cost Accounting Act ("CUPCCAA") set forth in Public Contract Code section 22000 et seq. Bidders shall comply with any requirements set forth in the CUPCCAA including all guidelines and requirements in the current California Uniform Construction Cost Accounting Commission Cost Accounting Policies and Procedures Manual. Prime Contractor bidders shall be required to have a valid Class _"B" or "C-13"_ Contractor's License. Bids must be from an appropriately licensed contractor and must be sealed. Interested bidders must be appropriately licensed Each Bid must be accompanied by one of the following forms of bidder's security: (1) cash; (2) a cashier's check made payable to the District; (3) a certified check made payable to the District; or (4) a bidder's bond executed by a California admitted surety as defined in Code of Civil Procedure section 995.120, made payable to the District in the form set forth in the Bid Documents. Such bidder's security must be in an amount not less than ten percent (10%) of the maximum amount of bid, as a guarantee that the bidder will enter into the proposed Contract, if the same is awarded to such bidder, and will provide the required performance and payment Bonds, insurance certificates and any other required documents. In the event of failure to enter into said Contract or provide the necessary documents, said security will be forfeited. Bidders are hereby notified that pursuant to section 1770 et seq. of the Labor Code of the State of California, the Director of Industrial Relations has ascertained the general prevailing rate of per diem wages and the rates for overtime and holiday work in the locality in which the work is to be performed for each craft, classification or type of workman needed to execute the Contract which will be awarded to the successful bidder. Copies are on file with and available upon request from the District Within 10 days after notification of the Award of Contract, the successful bidder or bidders will be required to furnish, simultaneously with execution of the Contract, a Labor and Material Payment Bond and a Faithful Performance Bond in the form required by the District, each in an amount equal to one hundred percent (100%) of the Contract Price from an admitted surety company as defined in Code of Civil Procedure section 995.120. The Board reserves the right to reject any or all Bids, and further reserves the right to waive any informalities or irregularities in the Bids or in the bidding. Pursuant to Labor Code sections 1725.5 and 1771.1, all contractors and subcontractors that wish to bid on, be listed in a bid or enter into a contract to perform public work must be registered with the Department of Industrial Relations. No bid will be accepted nor any contract entered into without proof of the contractor's and subcontractors' current registration with the Department of Industrial Relations to perform work. If awarded a Contract, the Bidder and its subcontractors, of any tier, shall maintain active registration with the Department of Industrial Relations for the duration of the Project This Project is subject to compliance monitoring and enforcement by the Department of Industrial Relations. In bidding on this project, it shall be the Bidder's sole responsibility to evaluate and include the cost of complying with all labor compliance requirements under this Contract and applicable law in its bid
