Estimate Low:$5,000,000 Estimate High:$5,500,000 The Spokane International Airport Concourse C Parking Lot North Expansion project is part of a series of projects to expand the surface parking at Spokane International Airport. The airport plans to construct a new parking lot north of the existing Concourse C Parking Lot, as expanded last year. The project is located within the northeast quarter of Section 31 and the northwest quarter of Section 32 of Township 25 North, Range 42 East, east of Interstate 90, south of State Route 2, and north of Highway 902. In the existing condition, the portion of the site within the construction limits is undeveloped land with patches of prairie grasses, sage brush, and bare soil. The north half of the site is contained by the Arrivals Road to the airport terminal, W Airport Dr., and a new parking lot to the south. Runoff either enters the existing swale between W Airport Drive and the site or infiltrates in local depressions within the site. The project is not within a floodplain and there are no known flooding issues in the area. The eastern portion of the site is undeveloped. This will be developed in the future probably as additional parking. The project is an extension of the Concourse C Parking Lot project which was constructed in 2023. The Concourse C Parking Lot is located to the south of the current project site. The C Concourse Parking Lot North Expansion Project will install utility infrastructure required for the W McFarlane Road extension between old W Airport Drive and the realigned Airport Drive, an off-ramp from W Airport Drive Inbound, as well as pave and finish the Concourse C Parking Lot North Expansion. Future phases of work are anticipated to construct additional parking between the Concourse C Parking Lot North Expansion and inbound Airport Drive as well as connect the alignment of the expanded W McFarlane Road, constructed with this phase of the project, with the existing W McFarlane Road further east. Once this future work is completed, the Concourse C Parking Lot North Expansion will be combined with the existing Economy Parking Lot 1, creating one large Economy Parking Lot that is separated from t he C Concourse Parking Lot by W McFarlane Road.
