The Contractor agrees to complete the Work in a good, firm, substantial and workmanlike manner in strict conformity with this Contract. (1) The Work relates to the following Project: Runway 3R-21L Keel Replacement at the DeKalb Peachtree (PDK) Airport This project includes full-depth replacement of all pavement panels in the Keel (center 50-feet) and selected panels outside the Keel of Runway 3R-21L and remarking Runway 3R-21L in its entirety. Additive scope items include the full depth replacement of Taxiway Alpha between Runway 21L and Taxiway Juliet. The objective of this project is to replace the most distressed pavement panels on the primary runway and taxiway at PDK airport. The project work includes the following activities: full-depth Portland cement concrete pavement replacement, including recycled concrete base course and subgrade repair as needed, runway profile correction, grading and drainage improvements, lighting replacement, pavement marking, and erosion control. The overall project is being constructed in various phases to minimize the impact to airport operations. (2) Work not included in this Contract (if applicable): B. Unless otherwise stipulated, the Contractor shall furnish all of the Work in accordance with the Contract and all incidental work necessary to complete the Project in an acceptable manner, ready for use, occupancy, or operation by the County.
