Renovation of a water / sewer project in Halifax, Nova Scotia. Conceptual plans call for the renovation of a water / sewer project.

Scope of work includes installation of a multi-rake bar screen system (or similar automated screening system) to be installed at the inlet to the Roach's Pond Pump Station at 33 Princeton Avenue, Halifax. This system shall capture most of debris going to the pump station prior to it reaching the downstream pumps. The caught debris shall be removed from the screen automatically and collected in a movable bin that can be easily removed or emptied by operations. TIMELINE: The owner is currently seeking proposals from engineering services to design the multi-rake bar screen system. Further project details and schedules may be confirmed mid-2024, pending award of contract. *Budget is unreleased.
