The Proposed Work Consists of Approximately 248 Cy of Asphalt Concrete, 260 Sy of Pavement Planning and 24 Cy of Aggregate Shoulder. Engineer's Base Bid Cost Estimate is $75,000.00. Bockrath & Associates Engineering and Surveying LLC will be performing contract administration, construction inspection and construction staking associated with this project. All costs will be billed directly to the Village of Fort Jennings except for any restaking that results from the contractor or sub-contractor destroying and/or disturbing stakes that had been previously set at the request ofthe contractor. Contractor is to give the Engineer at least 48 hours notice prior needing layout Water Street may have single lane closures with the use of flaggers or proper electronic signage during work hours when the contractor is actively working on said road. Access to driveways within the project areas are to be maintained. Roadways are to be opened to local traffic when the contractor is not actively working on said roadway and outside ofwork hours. Specific attention must be made to minimizing the driveway access closures to the various residences within the project area. Interpretations or clarifications considered necessary by Engineer in response to such questions will be issued by Addenda mailed or delivered to all parties recorded by Engineer as having received the Bidding Documents. Questions received less than ten days prior to the date for opening of Bids may not be answered. Only questions answered by Addenda will be binding. Oral and other inteipretations or clarifications will be without legal effect.
