PHASE 2 - CONSTRUCT AN APPROXIMATE 8071 SF ONE STORY ADOPTION/CLINIC BUILDING AND RELATED COMPONENTS: A NEW ADOPTION/CLINIC BUILDING, PARTIAL NEW EXTERIOR FACADE ON A PORTION OF THE EXISTING 1960'S SHELTER, RELATED SITE WORK. PHASE 3 - NON-STRUCTURAL INTERIOR REMODELING OF APPROXIMATELY 1810 SF WITHIN THE EXISTING STEEL (PRE-ENGINEERED) ANIMAL HOLDING BUILDING: RENOVATION AND CONVERSION OF AN APPROXIMATE 1024 SF AREA IN THE NORTHEAST CORNER OF THE EXISTING BUILDING, RENOVATION OF AN APPROXIMATE 750 SF DOG ISOLATION ROOM #501 ADD ALTERNATES INCLUDE: ADD ALT 1 - DOG ISOLATION AND REHAB RM #501 IN THE EXISTING STEEL KENNEL BUILDING - PHASE 1 NEW PLUMBING, CONCRETE SLAB, DOORS AND RELATED WORK ONLY. ADD ALT 2 - DOG ISOLATION AND REHAB RM #501 PHASE 2 - NEW CEILING, LIGHTING & HVAC. ADD ALT. 3 - REPURPOSE/REMODEL OF THE EXISTING PORTABLE BUILDINGS - THIS WORK IS TO BE PERFORMED WITHIN A $50,000 TOTAL ALLOWANCE. THE SCOPE OF WORK WILL BE WORKED OUT WITH THE SELECTED CONTRACTOR TO FIT WITHIN THE $50,000 ALLOWANCE. THE ALLOWANCE WILL INCLUDE ALL COSTS INCLUDING CONTRACTOR GENERAL CONDITIONS AND PROFIT AND OVERHEAD. ADD ALT 4 - PAINT EXISTING SHELTER BUILDING - THIS WORK INCLUDES PAINTING ALL PORTIONS OF THE CURRENTLY PAINTED EXISTING SHELTER BUILDINGS THAT WILL REMAIN. Requests for Clarification: Shall be submitted in writing by 5:00 p.m., at least one week prior to bid opening date.
