Site work and new construction of a mixed-use development in Garden City, Georgia. Completed plans call for the construction of a 286,000-square-foot municipal facility; for site work for a municipal facility; and parking garage.
CONTRACT No. 1801-0941C A/E Project No. 219210001 The proposed work consists of construction of a new maintenance and operations facility. The entire facility is approximately 286,000 SF, and includes three areas administration offices, operations and maintenance, and a parking garage. The administration area includes class-A office space, including offices, conference rooms, large meeting spaces, and a dining facility. The operations and maintenance area includes offices, operations center, employee lockers, parts storage, and 14 separate maintenance bays with vehicle lifts and overhead cranes. The parking garage will accommodate approximately 630 vehicles. The construction type is mainly structural steel and bar joists, and the parking garage is precast concrete. The exterior veneer materials include precast concrete, brick, and prefinished metal panels. The project is located at the Garden City Terminal, City, Georgia. Bid must be accompanied by a bid security equal to 10 percent of bid sum. If a construction contract is awarded, the successful bidder will be required to furnish performance and payment bonds, each equal in amount to contract sum.
