Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Starkville, Mississippi. Completed plans call for site work for a sidewalk / parking lot; for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot; and water / sewer project.
The work shall consist essentially of the following items: Improvements to sidewalks, adding bike facilities, improvements to drainage and utility relocations to accommodate streetscaping. No stripped bids will be accepted. If submitting electronically, bidders must include all items listed on the Bidder's Checklist. No bidder may withdraw his bid within sixty (60) days after the date of actual bid opening, without Owner's consent. Each bid shall be accompanied by a Cashier's check, Certified Check on a solvent bank or a Bidder's Bond issued by a Surety Company licensed to operate in the State of Mississippi, in the amount of five percent (5%) of the total bid price, payable to the City of Starkville as bid security. Bidders shall also submit a current financial statement, if requested by the City. The successful bidder will be required to furnish a Performance Bond and a Payment bond each in the amount of one hundred percent (100%) of the contract amount. The award of this contract will be contingent upon the Contractor satisfying the DBE/WBE requirements. FEDERAL AID PROJECT NO. FBLD-7113-00(004) LPA/108418-801000
