Description: The work included under this contract and covered by these specifications consists of supplying a completely operational Advanced Metering Infrastructure (aka AMI fixed network) system in the City of Eveleth. This work involves, but is not limited to, providing new water meters with transceiver units, a meter reading AMI system that includes all components, tower-based collector, meter data management software, training, accessory wire, seals, gaskets all necessary hardware and water meter installation. Software supplied shall be compatible with current Banyon billing software and training provided on use. Site Address: Eveleth City Hall Scope of Work The City of Eveleth, is seeking qualified Sellers, vendors/manufacturers of water meters, an AMI fixed base meter reading system, and water meter installation for a water meter replacement project. The equipment will consist of meters, registers, transmitter modules and an AMI collector(s). The system will include meter data management software that is capable of interfacing with the Citys utility billing system (Banyon). This detailed specification will provide a means by which the City can evaluate overall system concept, products, service, maintenance, technology, longevity, warranties, overall project cost and total cost of ownership for the 20-year life of the system. This project will be awarded based on a 20-year useful life expectancy.
