Question Deadline 06/12/2024 All questions about the meaning or intent of the Bidding Documents are to be submitted to Engineer in writing. Questions received less than seven days prior to the date for opening of Bids may not be answered. Contractorshall complete all Work asspecified or indicated in the Contract Documents. The Work is generally described as follows A. Construction of septage receiving access stations and treatment equipment, and all associated mechanical equipment and piping, yard piping, electrical and instrumentation work, site work to install the Owner pre-purchased septage receiving equipment. The project consists of construction of septage receiving access stations and associated inlet piping and equipment, installing the new septage treatment system, site work and paving of an access road for septage trucks to access the new facilities, and constructing sections of new gravity line to convey discharge from the treatment equipment to the existing facility headworks. The Owner has pre-purchased the septage receiving equipment as identified in Appendix B. The contractor awarded the project will be responsible for supplying skilled labor and material in accordance with contract documents to render the facility complete and operational. Bids must be accompanied by Bid Security in the form of a bid bond, certified check, cashier's check, or cash in the amount of 5% of the amount of the bid proposal. Said bid security shall be forfeited to Owner as liquidated damages should the successful bidder fail to enter into contract in accordance with their proposal as specified in the Instructions to Bidders. Each bidder must have a Public Works Contractors License in the State of Idaho prior to bid opening in accordance with Idaho law. Owner reserves the right to reject any or all proposals, waive any nonmaterial irregularities in the bids received, and to accept the proposal deemed most advantageous to the best interest of the Owner.
