This procurement encourages Bidders to submit an Indigenous Participation Plan (IPP) as part of their offer. See the solicitation document (Annex F: Indigenous Participation Plan Criteria) for a description of the specific IPP criteria that will be assessed for this procurement, and an explanation of how they will be evaluated. The Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP) requires the upgrade of cabling for Closed Circuit Video Equipment (CCVE) and Intrusion Detection System (IDS) systems at the RCMP detachments in Inuvik, Fort McPherson, Tuktoyaktuk, Fort Smith, Fort Simpson, and Behchoko in the Northwest Territories. The work must be done in conjunction with the site retrofit. RCMP Protective Technical Services Section Staff will be on-site at each site the entire time of the project to provide answers and direction, as well as provide escort. A minimum of two electricians must provide the work for the contract, and at least one of them must be a journeyman electrician. The period of the Contract is from date of contract to March 31st, 2026 inclusive. The estimated contract period will be 20 month(s), with a proposed start date of 2024/08/01. The Contract is subject to the following Comprehensive Land Claims Agreement(s): o Gwich'in Comprehensive Land Claim Agreement o Inuvialuit Final Agreement o Tlicho Agreement The Contractor (if an individual) and all of the contractor's personnel/subcontractors who may work on site must hold a valid "Facilities Access Level II (FA2) with Escort" issued by RCMP Departmental Security.
