Fire Alarms, Sprinklers, Fire Extinguishers and Backflow Testing, Inspection, Service, Supplies & Equipment This shall be a one-year contract beginning August 1, 2024 and ending July 31, 2025. Any questions pertaining to the proposal procedures should be addressed to the Purchasing Department at 936- 931-0317. WISD reserves the right to reject any or all proposals, and, at its discretion, may waive any formalities or minor irregularities regarding the proposals. Insurance Required: The contractor will provide the following insurance certification in the amounts shown and under the conditions noted before any authorization will be given to commence service: The District reserves the right to cancel the contract for service for any reason it deems suitable to its best interest. Such statements as are herein set forth shall be the terms of cancellation for any contract established for landscape maintenance service. Such cancellation shall be noted in writing at least 30 days before the service cancellation in cases of emergency. Such a cancellation notice shall come from the office of Business Services, and shall set forth the reasons for said cancellation of service. A cancellation notice may be brought about by, but not limited to: 1. Any breach of the contract or provisions set forth in the proposal specifications. 2. Insurance cancellation 3. Equipment failure or deviations 4. Missed service calls 5. Increased rates not agreed to in advance or as specified herein 6. Budgetary requirements 7. Legal change in the District's needs regarding landscape maintenance service
