Description

Site work and new construction of a detention facility in New York, New York. Working plans call for the construction of a 40,000-square-foot, 886-cell detention facility; and for site work for a detention facility.

The project scope includes the new construction of a new borough based jail facility in the Bronx. Demolition of the existing complex is being performed under a separate contract. As of October 22, 2025 the project is in design stage. The design build contractor has been chosen. Information regarding subcontractor opportunities has not been disclosed. Support of excavation construction is expected to begin in December or end of year 2025.
