KMPS requests bids for IFB #052124 - FLOOR ABATEMENT PROJECT (2110 Howell Ave., Memphis, TN 38108). The scope of work is attached/included in the IFB. Responses submitted must meet or exceed all requirements. Bids that do not meet or exceed all requirements will be considered non-responsive. KIPP Memphis Public Schools (KMPS) is part of the KIPP non-profit network of college-preparatory, public charter schools. KMPS began with one school in 2002; Today, the District operates three schools - KIPP Memphis Elementary, Middle, and High - educating nearly 1,500 students in Memphis. No interpretation of the meaning of the specifications or other documents will be made to any Supplier orally. Questions shall be submitted in writing to the Point of Contact (see Part II, 5.0). Should the Bidder withdraw their bid response without entering into a contract, the Bid Bond may be forfeited in whole or in part. Clean and wax new flooring to meet customer approval. d. Install (2) 4x4 cork boards. e. Install (2 ) 4x8 dry erase boards. f. Install (1) Promethean board. g. Replace (2) bookcases. h. Install approximately 30 linear feet of wall with 5/8 X rated sheetrock. i. Soundproofing insulation. j. No plumbing or electrical will be in this wall paint color will be selected by the owner. k. Install new 2x4 LED lighting in room 105, 106, and the Hallway leading to room 108. l. Install new PA ceiling speakers for room 105 and 106. Painting Painting for this project shall include various classrooms, trim, doors, and hallway walls from floor to ceiling.
