Site work, paving, new construction and renovation of a mixed-use development in Azle, Texas. Working plans call for the construction of a 18,600-square-foot educational facility; for the renovation of a 6,500-square-foot educational facility; for site work for a educational facility; and for paving for a educational facility.
Addition and renovation of the existing Forte Junior High School site. The building addition shall include general education classrooms, special programs, and accessory spaces to support comprehensive educational services for grades 6-8. It is anticipated the addition will be built to the IBC storm shelter requirements for Education occupancies. The estimated square footage shall be approximately 18,600 sf of new construction with 6,500 sf of renovated space. The site development shall include both on-site and off-site construction of items such as play fields, tennis courts, fire lanes, site paving, miscellaneous flat work, public utility and roadway improvements, and site utility extension and/or relocation, etc. The site location is at 479 Sandy Beach Road, Azle, Texas 76020. A construction manager at risk was selected on December 18, 2024. Design in anticipated to be completed in June 2024 with the proposal phase to follow in July 2024. Construction is anticipated to begin in July 2024 and be completed in November 2025.
