The Bay County Board of County Commissioners seeks bids from qualified vendors to remove and recycle all segregated white goods/scrap metals collected at the Steel field Road Landfill. White goods/scrap metals may be bailed, compacted or shredded at the landfill facility providing the equipment being utilized is designed to prohibit refrigerant oils and other contaminants from being discharged into the environment. Non-segregated metals shall be removed from the waste stream or inactive disposal area on an on-going basis, or as needed to keep from negatively impacting landfilling operations. Pickup location Steelfield Road Landfill, 11411 Landfill Road, Panama City Beach, FL 32413 Bidders shall submit all questions, in writing, to the Purchasing Department via email Purchasing@baycountyfl.gov, the Bonfire portal, or FAX to (850) 248-8276. All questions shall be submitted no later than 5:00 pm (CDT) on Tuesday, May 1, 2024. Board Meeting for recommended award Tuesday, June 4, 2024 How long is the duration of the contract 1 year term with optional three additional one-year renewals.
