Coachella Valley Water District is soliciting bids from qualified firms to provide a commercially designed stainless steel radial gate with all related accessories, and with or without a motor-operated hoist (actuator). Bidders shall provide two lump sum bid prices for CVWD's consideration. The first bid price shall be listed as Schedule A, for a radial gate without a motor operated hoist. The second bid price shall be listed as Schedule B, with a motor-operated hoist. CVWD will award the Schedule that is most advantageous to the District. This is an equipment purchase only, installation will be completed by District personnel. However, Seller will be on-site during the installation process. Requirements are described in more detail in the specifications attached. Within fifteen (15) business days of Notice of Award, the Successful Bidder must furnish the District with the Certificates of Insurance and endorsement forms proving coverage as specified in the attached sample agreement. The Successful Bidder shall execute a written agreement with the District within fifteen (15) business days after Notice of Award. Failure to furnish the insurance certificates and endorsements required within the time allowed will result in forfeiture of Bid Award. Sample agreement is attached.
