As of November 5, 2025, this project has been cancelled. ** MUSD Building D Balcony Waterproof and Tile The Project Description presents the project scope as follows: 1. Install tile over waterproof/crack prevention membrane at existing concrete balcony with matching surface bullnose wall base. a. Provide movement joints at wall base and at 12 FT max in the field. 2. Install ornamental scuppers at each side. Locate rebar prior to drilling and confirm location with owner and architect. a. Patch and repair stucco as required and paint extent as required to blend with existing painted facade. 3. Install new floor drain at existing floor drain location. Tie into waterproof membrane beneath floor tile. California prevailing wage statutes are found in California Labor Code 1720-1861 and Title VIII of the California Code of Regulations Section 16000-16403. Projects in excess of $1,000 will require that contractors and their subcontractors comply with these requirements. For projects in excess of $15,000 for maintenance and $25,000 for public works: Pursuant to Labor Code sections 1725.5 and 1771.1, all contractors and subcontractors that wish to bid on, be listed in a bid proposal, or enter into a contract to perform public work must be registered with the Department of Industrial Relations. No bid will be accepted nor any contract entered into without proof of the contractor's and subcontractors' current registration with the Department of Industrial Relations to perform public work. If awarded a Contract, the Bidder and its subcontractors, of any tier, shall maintain active registration with the Department of Industrial Relations for the duration of the Project. This Project is subject to compliance monitoring and enforcement by the Department of Industrial Relations. In bidding on this project, it shall be the Bidder's sole responsibility to evaluate and include the cost of complying with all labor compliance requirements under this contract and applicable law in its bid. Payment Bond: Required on all projects over $25,000
