Renovation of a municipal facility in Covington, Louisiana. Completed plans call for the renovation of a municipal facility.
Each paper bid must be submitted in a sealed envelope. The outside of the envelope shall show the Name and Address of the Bidder, the State Contractor's License Number of the Bidder (if the work is estimated at $50k or more), the Bid Name and the Bid Number. The project classification is: Building Construction A Bid Guarantee of five percent (5%) of the amount of the total Bid, including Alternates, must accompany the Proposal and, at the option of the Bidder, may be a cashier's check, certified check or a satisfactory Bid Bond. The Bid Guarantee must be attached to the Louisiana Uniform Public Work Bid Form. No Bid will be considered unless it is so guaranteed. Cashier's check or certified check must be made payable to the order of the Owner. Cash deposits will not be accepted. The Owner reserves the right to cash or deposit the cashier's check or certified check. Such guarantees shall be made payable to the Parish of St. Tammany. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all Bids for just cause in accordance with the Public Bid Law, LSA-R.S. 38:2214(B). Incomplete, informal, illegible, or unbalanced Bids may be rejected. Question Deadline 07/01/2024 at 2:00 PM CT Every request for such an interpretation shall be made in writing and addressed and forwarded to the Owner. Inquiries received within seven (7) days prior to the day fixed for opening of the Bids may not be given consideration
