Renovation of an educational facility in Centreville, Michigan. Completed plans call for the renovation of a 72,942-square-foot, two-story above grade educational facility.
As of September 10, 2024, project is awarded to Frederick Construction but the awarded amount is not available. Glen Oaks Community College Renovations to B & D Halls Separate sealed BIDS for the construction of (briefly describe nature, scope, and major elements of the work) The Work of Project is defined by the Contract Documents and consists of major renovations to the Glen Oaks Community College facility, specifically in the B and D Halls. The renovations include new exterior cladding consisting of masonry wainscot, metal studs, insulated metal panels, and new glazing systems. Interior renovations range from a complete reconstruction with new layout of the athletic locker spaces to minor finish upgrades. Scope of work includes minor excavations, masonry, concrete, metal stud framing, roofing, glazing systems, doors and openings, mechanical systems, electrical systems, plumbing, equipment replacement, ceilings, and finish trades. Minor modifications to the fire alarm and the partial fire sprinkler system are required. Copies of the Contract Documents may be obtained at the office of Eastern Engineering online upon payment of $0 for each set. Anticipated Award Date: June 28, 2024
