Site work and paving for a sidewalk / parking lot in Marathon, Wisconsin. Completed plans call for site work for a sidewalk / parking lot; and for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot.
In general, the project consists of removing and replacing curb and gutter, 6 driveway approaches, 2 pedestrian curb ramps along with installation of missing sections of curb and sidewalks on Hemlock Street between 4th and 6th Street. This project includes installation of 7 LF of missing curb and 50 SF of sidewalk section on 4th Street along with 4 LF of missing curb and gutter on Maratech Ave. All three projects are to be completed together as one village project. The contractor is responsible for replacing the existing curb and gutter back to the existing elevations and grade. The village is not responsible for engineering staking. The Village of Marathon City reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to award a contract or contracts in the best interest of the village.
