The proposed work includes: Supply of construction materials for a single span bridge utilizing a wide flange steel beam, 60-foot in length in accordance with the plans and specifications. Work also includes supplying and installing steel piles and pre-bore. Materials to be supplied for the project include Steel IBeams, Prestressed Concrete Panels and Epoxy Rebar. The project is located on Protem Cedar Creek Road, in Section 31, Township 22N, Range 17W, Taney County, Missouri, over Shoal Creek. Project items will be bid and awarded in 4 separate groups. The County will review submitted prices for each group individually and will award the work to the lowest responsible bidder for each group. Bidders may select to bid an individual group, or multiple groups. The following groups will be bid: 1. Supply materials for reinforcing steel 2. Supply materials for structural steel 3. Supply materials for prestressed concrete panels 4. Pre-boring, supplying and installing steel piles. All labor used in the construction of this public improvement shall be paid a wage no less than the prevailing hourly rate of wages of work of a similar character in this locality as established by the Missouri Division of Labor Standards state wage rates. The Taney County Commission hereby notifies all bidders that it will affirmatively ensure that in any contract entered into pursuant to this advertisement, businesses owned and controlled by socially and economically disadvantaged individuals will be afforded full opportunity to submit bids in response to this invitation and will not be discriminated against on the grounds of race, color, religion, creed, sex, age, ancestry, or national origin in consideration for an award. The right is reserved to reject any or all bids.
