Description of work: This project will construct a raised median on NE 78th Street between NE 30th Avenue and NE 39th Avenue. The project will include a full access illuminated intersection at the intersection of NE 78th Street and NE 34th Avenue. Primary bid items: Mobilization, Project Temporary Traffic Control, commercial HMA, Dual-Faced Concrete Traffic Curb, Illumination System. Each bid proposal must be accompanied by a bid deposit in the form of a certified check, cashier's check, or proposal bond in an amount of at least five percent (5%) of the total bid. Should the successful bidder fail to enter into a contract and furnish a satisfactory contract bond, the bid deposit shall be forfeited to Clark County. Clark County, in accordance with the provisions of Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964 (78 Stat. 252, 42 U.S.C. 2000d to 2000d-4) and the Regulations, hereby notifies all bidders that it will affirmatively ensure that any contract entered into pursuant to this advertisement, disadvantaged business enterprises will be afforded full and fair opportunity to submit bids in response to this invitation and will not be discriminated against on the grounds of race, color, or national origin in consideration for an award.
