Renovation of a water / sewer project in Madison, Wisconsin. Conceptual plans call for the renovation of a water / sewer project.
This project is for reconstructing the Lake View Booster Pumping Station. The goal of the project is to meet fire fighting requirements and expansion in Zone 5. A generator will also be added to ensure reliability of the pumping station in the event of a power outage. Pump capacity will be increased to 1200 gallons per minute. As of July 29, 2024, this project is include in the city's 2024-2029 Capital Improvement Program (CIP). Funding is allotted for FY 2024 and 2029. Information regarding a design firm has not been made available. *Project information has been obtained through a public capital improvement plan (CIP). A CIP is a financial schedule for short- and long-range projects which is updated regularly.
