As of 6/3/2024 The Town of Shrewsbury hereby cancels the bids for the above contract, which were due on Wednesday, June 5, 2024. The bids were cancelled because insufficient funding was available to award the contract. Once funds become available, the project will be rebid in the summer. Installation of approximately 4250 linear feet of six-inch CLDI Class 52 pipe, approximately 6000 linear feet of eight-inch CLDI Class 52 pipe, approximately six linear feet of 12-inch CLDI Class 52 pipe, and all associated appurtenances. Approximately (96) 1" PE lateral service reconnections, seven main reconnections, and 14 new hydrants. Estimated Cost $2,364,495.00 Contractor Qualification Highway Division Required for DCAMM contracts over $150,000, Highway Division contracts over $50,000. All questions by prospective bidders as to the interpretation of the Information for Bidders, Form of Proposal, Form of Contract, Plans, Specifications, or Bonds must be submitted in writing to the Town Engineer at the Municipal Office Building, Shrewsbury, at least Four (4) business days before the date herein set for the opening of bids. The Engineer will then via addenda, to the prospective bidders at the email addresses given by them, not less than Three (3) business days before said date, his interpretations of all questions so raised, which in his opinion require interpretation.
