Completed plans call for the renovation of a playground / park / athletic field; for site work for a playground / park / athletic field; for paving for a playground / park / athletic field; sidewalk / parking lot; and sidewalk / parking lot.

A. This specification covers the requirements for constructing 1849 Park - Phase II as shown on the construction Plans and specified herein. B. The Work is located within the City of Pflugerville as shown on the Location Map included in the Plans. C. The Work includes, but is not necessarily limited to, the following: 1. (3) Baseball Fields & Dugouts, Grandstand Seating, Playground Covered Pavilion housing Restrooms & Concessions, Landscape, Irrigation, Batting Cages furnishing all labor; material, tools and equipment and performing all work required for the 1849 PARK - PHASE II, which consists of two 225-foot baseball fields, one 225-foot softball field, two asphalt parking lots, concrete walking trail, Restroom and Concessions facilities. The City of Pflugerville intends to assign this contract to the Contractor for the 1849 Park - Phase II. Question Deadline 07/11/2024 at 12:00 PM CT Proposals must be submitted on the Proposal forms provided and must be accompanied by a bid bond in a penal sum of not less than five percent (5%) of the total Contract Price proposed. The security may be in the form of a bid bond furnished by a reliable surety company having authority under the laws of Texas to write surety bonds in the amount required, with such bond made payable without recourse to the City. The envelope containing the bid shall indicate clearly on the front that it is a bid for 1849 PARK - PHASE II. The Notice of Award of Contract shall be issued to the successful Offeror by the City within sixty (60) days following the opening of Proposals and no Offeror may withdraw a bid within sixty (60) days after opening thereof. The successful Offeror must furnish a performance bond and payment bond on the forms provided, each in the amount of one hundred percent (100%) of the contract amount, from a surety company authorized by the State of Texas to act as surety. The Contract will be awarded using a Competitive Sealed Proposal Process.
