Project includes complete demolition of 1 building at NAS Pensacola, and 12 buildings at NAS Saufley Field, and partial demolition of 1 building at NAS Saufley Field. Demolition includes buildings and adjacent support buildings, surrounding areas including utilities and related work such as HAZMAT removal and disposal. Each facility structure shall be demolished in it's entirety including footers and below grade foundations. For historical purposes a small amount of materials will be salvaged and provided to government for storage.The will be restored and graded to match adjacent grades for future development.Associated demolition for each facility includes Civil, Mechanical, Architectural, HAZMAT, and Electrical. Extensive HAZMAT Reports have been provided and be reviewed and included for bidding purposes. Note the "Hazmat Notification" in section 01 11 00, page 2 stating that for bidding purposes contractor's bids shall include removing and disposing of an additional 25% of all HAZMAT quantities reported to account for additional HAZMAT that may be encountered. And also For purposes of bidding to assume that all transformers contain PCBs. Also for bidding purposes all materials listed in the limited HAZMAT reports with unknown or assumed materials shall be handled, treated, and disposed of as HAZMAT in accordance with regulations. *The value for this project is based on a financial range.
