The project would also improve pedestrian connectivity at the key intersections and reduce vehicle-pedestrian conflicts in support of improved access to bus stops. Provide queue jump lanes for buses at key intersections using either shoulders or widening the roadway near the intersection. Relocate bus stop locations and provide bus turnouts, as necessary. Upgrade traffic signals to meet the current standards. Provide shared use paths, high visibility crosswalks, and ADA compliant curb ramps. Provide sidewalk connectivity to nearby park and ride locations. Enhance the lighting conditions at the key intersections.
