(1) - Route 82 and Route 93 Pavement Preservation (Construction Inspection C-6 Level A) 10.00% ESBEs Allows zero unit prices and labor Yes Allows negative unit prices and labor Yes Last Date to Submit Questions: 5/23/2024 Anticipated Selection Date: June/2024 E-mail question(s) to PSPD@dot.nj.gov The subject project involves Pavement Preservation with Slurry Seal Aggregate Type II and Slurry Seal Emulsion treatment on the existing pavement of Route 82 and Route 93. The project limits are Route 82 from Rt 124 to Rt 439, MP 0.0 to MP 1.87 and Route 93 from Rt 1&9 to Van Nostrand Avenue, MP 0.0 to MP 3.5. The purpose of this project is to extend the Pavement's functional life and to reduce future rehabilitation costs. There are no ROW acquisition requirements within the project limits and there is no provision in the Contract for Utility work. Traffic staging can be used for main lanes and ramps to perform installation of Micropaving Joints, Reset Inlet Castings, HMA Longitudinal Joint Repairs, Pavement Repairs, HMA Patching, RPM Removal, RPM installation, Traffic Stripping and Markings Removal, Tack Coat application, Slurry Seal application, Final Striping, Rumble Strips Installation and to complete other Contract items.
