The Preliminary Preferred Alternative includes the following key improvements: Widen Route 202 northbound from Chubb Way through Old York Road to provide an additional lane (third through lane). Widen Route 202 northbound and southbound to provide dual left turn lanes. Widen Old York Road to provide an additional through lane, and a receiving lane at both approaches. Provide a Shared Use Path along the northbound side of Route US 202 and along the westbound side of Old York Road within project limits. Upgrade the traffic signals at Route 202/Old York Road and Route 202/Chubb Way intersections. Extend the existing culvert under Route 202 at the southern end of the project to accommodate roadway widening.
