The bidding and award of this Contract will be under the provisions M.G.L. Chapter 30B. The contract will be awarded within sixty (60) days after the bid opening excluding Saturdays, Sundays, and all legal holidays. The time for award may be extended by mutual agreement between the City and the awarded bidder. No Bidder may withdraw his/her bid for a period of sixty (60) days, excluding Saturdays, Sundays, and legal holidays, after the actual date of the opening thereof. * The Awarding Authority reserves the right to waive any informality, reject any or all bids, or accept other than the lowest priced bid if the City determines that it is in the best interests of the City. The City of New Bedford reserves the right to waive any informality in, or to reject, any or all bids, if it deems such waiver or rejection to be in the best interest of the City.
