This project consists of the construction of a midblock crossing on Ann Arbor-Saline Road directly southwest of Tiger Lily Drive and Bella Strada Drive. The project includes construction of concrete curb ramp and sidewalk, curb, pavement markings, signage, solar rectangular rapid flashing beacons, mast arm installation, temporary traffic control, SESC measures, turf establishment, and wiring for a new case sign and downlight, including conduit and DTE meter coordination. Each Proposal shall be accompanied by a cashier's check, certified check, money order or bid bond, payable to the OWNER, in an amount not less than five percent (5%) of the amount of the Proposal, as a Bid Security. The Bid Security of the Bidders under consideration will be returned after approval of the Contract by the OWNER. All others will be returned after the Proposal opening. The successful Bidder will be required to furnish a satisfactory Performance Bond and Labor and Material Bond, each in the amount of One Hundred Percent (100%) of the Contract. The following CONTRACTOR MDOT pre-qualification is required for this project: N/A Withdrawal of any Proposal is prohibited for a period of 90 days after the actual date of the opening thereof.
