This Request for Expressions of Interest (RFEOI) sets forth the requirements and anticipated services for OPS No. A4236 which consists of professional engineering services required to perform the assessment of existing Maintenance District Buildings and State Police Facilities at various locations along the Garden State Parkway and New Jersey Turnpike. The study shall include the preparation of two distinct reports for each location: an Existing Field Conditions Report and a Needs Assessment Report for various disciplines. These reports shall be used by the Authority in the development of a short-term building commissioning project at the selected locations. The needs assessment shall include a budgetary estimate for anticipated construction costs and is intended to serve as reference material and a preliminary scope for two subsequent construction contracts to be designed under a separate design task (by others). The primary objective of the deliverables is to keep the buildings in a state of good repair by identifying commissioning needs for both building envelope and selected systems as identified in the scope of services. Additionally, this project shall identify and propose upgrades to certain systems to be consistent with current NJTA standards installed at other locations. A portion of this project requires specialty staff as identified in Subsection B3, Staffing Estimate. Enclosed herewith is a Request for Expressions of Interest ("RFEOI") by the New Jersey Turnpike Authority ("Authority") for professional engineering services required for a condition assessment of Maintenance and State Police facilities at various locations (see Attachment A). In accordance with N.J.A.C. 19:9-2.8(b), this Order for Professional Services ("OPS") is considered a Simple procurement. The SBE project goal is 25%. The method of Contractor Selection has not been Determined at this time
