Reference Number 0000270105 Question Acceptance Deadline 2024/06/10 12:00:00 AM MDT This RFQ is an invitation to submit offers for the provision an asphalt services provider to perform asphalt surfaces including but not limited to roadways, trails, sidewalks/payments and parking lots at RDP's campuses on an "as needed" basis. In addition to asphalt patching and repairs, some areas may also require preparation prior to asphalt installation or full subbase and base reconstruction. The asphalt service provider shall provide services under the direction of RDP's Campus Management department, in accordance with all applicable federal, provincial, and municipal laws, industry regulations, by-laws, codes, ordinances and standards. The asphalt services provider would be expected to provide the following services, but not limited to: 1. Supply all the necessary equipment, tools, materials, staffing, mobilization, and de- mobilization to provide the asphalt services required by RDP. 2. Provide, as required, advanced placement of barricades in agreed to areas prior to any work being undertaken. 3. Is responsible for the location and exposure of all underground utilities and structures in the proposed work prior to commencing the work. 4.Coordinate asphalt maintenance services at RDP sites while minimizing disruption and access at sites. 5. Coordinate and liaise with consultant hired by RDP for geotechnical engineering studies related to road repairs on asphaltic surfaces, including but not limited to roadways, trails, sidewalks/pavements, and parking lots. Complete all services in accordance with the City of Red Deer Contract Specifications, most recent edition.
