Electrical improvements and maintenance work at the existing Randolph County Care Center - 312 W. Belmont Street, Sparta, IL 62286. Revise Section 26 24 16 Section 1.1 Summary: Delete Item #2. There is no Alternate Bid required for this project. Refer to base bid scope of work in item #1 and as indicated in Electrical Keynotes on Sheets E1.1, E1.2, and E1.3. - If retrofitting is not possible and a new panelboard installation is required at any location, the State of Illinois minimum clear width of 8 ft at corridors must be maintained and a maximum 4" projection into the clear width must be followed for code compliance. - Contractor to coordinate with depth of new panelboard which may require furring out existing construction to maintain 4" max projection. This project includes any finished surfaces required to enclose electrical devices, conduits, etc. Review all locations of proposed new panelboard locations with Architect at pre-construction meeting.
