Hattiesburg Fire Station One HVAC Upgrades A Single Bid Will Be Received for the Complete Project. All bids submitted must comply with requirements of title 31, chapter 3 (31 3 1 et seq.) Of Mississippi code of 1972 as amended. The Bid Bond Shall Be Payable Unconditionally to Owner. Bids on the Project Must Be Received on or Before the Period Scheduled for the Project and No Bid May Be Withdrawn After the Scheduled Closing Time for the Project, for a Period of 45 Days. Award will be made based on the lowest and best bid received in accordance with title 31, chapter 7 (31 7 13 et seq.) Of Mississippi code of 1972 as amended. The owner reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive informalities. The work consists of construction of the following scope of work: a. Removal of the existing city-multi mini split type HVAC system in its entirety, including all associated electrical service connections back to the main panels. b. Installation and retrofit of a new ducted HVAC system complete with outside air and recovery systems. This includes new electrical service to all new equipment utilizing the existing service and panels. c. Removal and replacement of acoustical lay-in tile ceilings and grid systems as required. d. Interior renovations consisting of new partitions, doors and frames, and new finishes as required to build new HVAC closets and plenums in existing storage rooms. Patching and repairing of flooring, walls, and ceiling finishes as required. e. Exterior wall patching & repairs as required to eliminate existing outside air systems and install new louvers where indicated. f. Other miscellaneous repair work as required to perform the above work.
