The intent of this solicitation for proposals is to establish a professional services contract with a respondent to evaluate the existing Intelligent Transportation System (ITS) for the Public Works Department. The consultant will prepare a plan of action with recommendations to improve and advance the City of Arlington's Public Works ability to manage corridor traffic, signal operations, special events, roadway incidents, performance data collection, congestion, driver information, connected vehicles, smart city deployments, to improve safety, and to coordinate with internal and external agencies. The City of Arlington exclusively uses online for the notification and dissemination of all solicitations. The receipt of solicitations through any other means may result in your receipt of incomplete specifications and/or addendums which could ultimately render your bid/proposal non-compliant. The City of Arlington accepts no responsibility for the receipt and/or notification of solicitations through any other means.
