The Town of Standish, Maine will accept sealed bids for the removal & disposal of existing courts and construction of new tennis courts at the Town Manager's Office, 175 Northeast Rd. Standish, Maine. The removal and construction of the tennis court will be at Johnson Field Park located at 89 Chadbourne Road Standish, ME 04084. The bids will be reviewed by the Parks & Recreation Director for recommendation and to the Town Council and scheduled bid award on Tuesday, July 9, 2024, at 6:00 p.m. Bids shall be submitted on the provided forms in accordance with the Information for Bidders. The bid must include the removal / disposal of existing fence and appurtenances, and existing tennis court surface. - Furnish and install gravel as needed. - Paving of 100' X 120' surface with 2 inch of base asphalt and 1.5 inches of surface asphalt. - Install two coats of standard colors to be determined. - Application of acrylic resurfaces. - Furnish and install two sets of 2" tennis playing lines and two sets of 2" pickleball playing lines. - Installation of 4 net posts, net anchors, and nets. - Furnish and install a 10' black vinyl chain link fence to match existing design, an entrance gate, and meet ADA requirements.
