Security Fencing: Locate perimeter fencing to ensure some degree of safety from exterior intrusions. The proposed fencing will be aesthetically appropriate for the campus environment but budgetary minded. Bidding Documents include this Invitation to Bid, and the following attached forms: Form of Proposal, sample contract, Sales Tax Report, School Access Requirements, MBE forms, Board of Education Policies. The bidding documents also include the plans and specifications, and any Addenda issued prior to receipt of bids. All requirements and obligations of the Bidding Documents are hereby incorporated by reference into the Contract Documents and are binding on the Successful Bidder upon award of the contract. Each Bidder by submitting his Bid represents that he has read and understands that Bidding Documents and his Bid is made in accordance therewith; and Bidder agrees to be bound by the terms and requirements set forth in the Bidding and Contract Documents; that he has visited the site, has familiarized himself with the local conditions under which the Work is to be performed herein, and has correlated his observations with the requirements of the proposed Contract Documents. The Wake County Public School System reserves the right to reject any and all bids, waive informalities and irregularities in bidding and to accept bids which are considered to be in the best interest of the School System. Also, the Wake County Public School System reserves the right to require any bidder to submit information needed to determine if said bidder is responsible within the meaning of N.C. Gen. Stat. 143-129. Once WCPSS has issued the contract, the Contractor has 14 calendar days to return the signed contract with supporting documents to WCPSS. All potential bidders including all subcontractors and other personnel wishing to attend the pre-bid conference must check-in at the school's main office prior to the pre-bid conference. After checking in, please meet outside the main entrance to the school. Please plan accordingly.
