This project consists of the Contractor providing all labor, equipment, materials, supplies, insurance, etc. necessary to repair, re-grade, and resurface the existing roads and create new parking lots at the Jennings and Candland Properties at Riverside WMA - 12873 Riverside Rd., Nanjemoy, MD 20662. This project includes but is not limited to the following: a. Repair all potholes, trenches, etc. Backfill these areas with clean compacted backfill (CR-6) in lifts of 6" using Unit Price #1. b. Scarify and regrade the existing 12' wide gravel road approximately 1,800 LF on the Jennings Property and 140 LF on the Candland Property using Unit Price #2. Grade to establish a crown in the center of the road. c. Supply and place 4" of gravel (CR-6) on roads, approximately 340 tons, using Unit Price #3. Grade and compact to establish a crown in the center of the road. The Contractor agrees that the price will be firm for a time period of ninety (90) calendar days from the bid opening date to execution of the contract by the State. The work shall be completed within 60 calendar days from the date of notice to proceed. If the work is not completed within the time period specified, the contractor will be liable for liquidated damages of $150.00 per calendar day as specified in the "General Conditions".
