2024 Hampton Bays Bike Lane and Multi-Use Trail Project The Owner is the Town of Southampton and the work site is located along Old Riverhead Road and Squiretown Road and within Red Creek Park and Good Ground Park within the Town of Southampton. The projects limits extend from: Red Creek Park to Good Ground Park. The work includes providing all labor, materials, machinery, tools, equipment and other means of construction necessary and incidental to the completion of the work shown on the plans and described in these specifications including, but not necessarily limited to the following: Construction of a shared-use path, construction of designated and/or widened bike lanes, bicycle facility signage, and pavement markings. Question Deadline: 06/07/2024 at 4:00 PM ET Each bidder must attach to the bid an envelope with a certified check equal to five (5) percent of his/her total bid payable to the order of the Town of Southampton, or a bond with sufficient sureties, acceptable to the Town of Southampton, in the sum of five (5) percent of the bid. All checks or bonds shall be returned except to the successful bidder, whose security shall be held until contract security is provided, according to the requirements set forth in the bid package. This is a Federal Aid Project and NYSDOT Standard Specifications, officially finalized and adopted on January 2023 as posted on the New York State Department of Transportation's website must be followed by the successful bidder The DBE goal for this project is: 9% There are no M/WBE goals for this project. The EEO Employment goals for this project are: 5.8% Minority Employment Goal 6.9% Women Employment Goal Bidders must comply with all Federal, State, and local laws. The successful Bidder will be required to comply with all provisions of the Federal Government Equal Employment Opportunity clauses issued by the Secretary of Labor on May 2, 1968 and published in the Federal Register (41 CFR Part 60-1, 33 F.2 7804). Successful bidders will be required to pay prevailing wage rates on this contract.
